High pressure die casting made in China is an industrial casting process used to make castings of aluminum, zinc, magnesium or brass. Molten metal is forced into a mold under high pressure, hardens in the mold, and then ejects itself. The die casting mold contains several cavities. Depending on the mold, series from about 300 to 400,000 molded parts can be produced due to the high output of the mold.
High pressure die casting allows parts to be manufactured with very thin walls and smooth surfaces and edges. Due to its high strength, very good dimensional accuracy and reproducibility, die casting is the best casting process for complex components and demanding applications both in terms of quality and economy.
