Basic steps of sand casting processing

Mold making: According to the shape and size of the casting, the mold is made using a steel template or other materials. The precision and processing quality of the mold are crucial to the precision of the sand mold and the quality of the casting.
Sand mold preparation: The sand mold is prepared by the water glass sand mold method, biomass pyrolysis method or other methods. The prepared sand mold needs to go through processes such as drying and baking to ensure its dryness and strength.
Melting and pouring: The metal material is heated to a molten state in a smelting furnace and then poured into the sand mold. During the pouring process, the melting temperature, pouring speed and pouring time need to be strictly controlled to ensure the quality of the casting.
Cooling and solidification: After the metal liquid cools and solidifies in the sand mold, the required casting is formed.
